The guy with the elephant has balls of steel! That was by far the most dangerous encounter. The orca comes second. And the Ourang-Outang episode was stressful but the monkey was definitely using the woman as a means to get more food from the guides. Those leopard's claws though!

Never hunts people nor do they try polar bears. Orcas are just super dolphins. The Filipinos have a legend about it that is neat, but I forget the entire story just something about lovers are something like that to explain why killer whales never hunt people.

Cuz he knew the basics of nature. If an elephant charges at you while their ears are floppy then it's a mock rush and if you stand fearless, they go away but if their ears is sticked back to their face then god have mercy on you.

The orca footage is one of the most beautifully terrifying things one could imagine. On one hand we know they’re hyper intelligent and understand us. They interact with us and are curious and at times even protective. Sometimes it may even come across like they have an affinity for humans or at the very least are simply tolerant. On the other hand knowing this creatures capability as the apex ocean predator in tandem with the knowledge that their cool behavior is 100% voluntary, if they chose violence there’s not one single thing you can do about it out there. We trust them to not make us their target and operate simply on faith. That is so beautiful and chilling at the same time.

Life lessons learned: -No paddle boarding or canoeing forever -Monkeys love bananas and melons. -Never wear leather shoes on safari. -if you got lions on your porch its better to call your real estate agent. -always swim with the anaconda that swallowed your diver friend. -And never get out of home unless you want to die.

That Orangutan most definitely learned if it held onto a person, it would be fed. The rest of the humans would give up food for its return and it learned to do that. The first few times would be cute, gentle and under a minute, but after that it knew to use it's strength, find a weak one and hold on as long as it wanted. They're not dumb, that's for sure!

@Ashliegh Deeble By then it might be too late. I'd be seriously wanting my handgun to put a bullet in its head when it turned to look at more bananas. Nice and simple. I'd certainly have waited a while and tried gauging if it was necessary but being absolutely without defense among critters that can literally rip you apart, leopards , lions, bears, even that elk , is just insane.

@Belolth the mountain would be able to outmuscle it fairly easily actually. Even if it was a male I think it's likely, but in this case the orangutan was a female so they are significantly smaller. Apes are crazy strong but that's compared to normal humans - the mountain is one of the strongest men in the world. If both the adult orangutan decided to attack him he'd probably get wrecked though.

@bluewater lands Sucuris don't eat humans, he was fine. There haven't been a single case that they swallow a human. They don't attack unless provoked either, but WILL kill you if you mess around with them. It's just a very scary animal, but won't hurt you unless you do something stupid. Sometimes they cross the roads and people just have to wait it out until they leave, they also tend to invade people's home during floads, but will leave after the water goes down.

@Terra Nova It seems that you've misunderstood the clip and the situation. The others around did try what they could to intervene, from food bribery to intimidation. But is seems you would prefer them to use physical force, which would be the absolute wrong option. There are 3 major factors as to why the group respondend the way they did. 1 she was already in her grasp, which mean the woman they were trying to rescue would sufer the most harm if the mother freaked out. 2 Orangatans are nearly always non-violent and are highly intelligent, which means that the mother could be coorced into letting her go. 3 Great Apes in general are far stronger than humans, which means that using force on the mother would go poorly for the woman and those trying to save her. The mother's was strong enough that a non-violent grip still hurt the woman, now add on the boost the mother would get from defending her babies, and you'd probably go home with a couple of caskets instead of a tense video

@Dhamon in captivity they have hurt humans, but locking wild animals up and forcing them to behave like circus animals is no good way to judge them. In the wild however, as I stated, there is only 1 directly verified attack in which a surfer was bitten by one. There are instances of them capsizing boats and the like but afterwards they have not harmed any humans. Some tried to tip boats because they had captured or harpooned members of the orca’s pod, but besides the surfer incident none directly injured humans. Some orcas tip and attack boats for unknown reasons, but never the humans in those boats directly It’s not an exaggeration to say that there are no fatal attacks from orcas in the wild, because there aren’t. It’s not an exaggeration to say that they don’t try to hurt humans, because besides the one case they hardly intentionally try to kill or harm anyone. I don’t know what you seem to think I’m exaggerating but from what I can find I’m right.

When people take stupidity equaling curiosity and heroism, that's no far from death. I really admire those people's courage of not being afraid of lost their lives. Many tragedy accidents happened because of victims dead and no video came out. Don't go looking for death with stupidity and curiosity, death will find you straight way.

My favorite was the curious giraffe. Big as it was, it still appeared to be not quite full grown yet, and it gave in to it's youthful curiosity. Both young men made no foolish moves, so all 3 of them had a good experience.

the leopard encounter was fascinating. the cat had absolutely no intention of hurting the guy, he was just curious. when he put his paw on the guys leg and he went "ow", the leopard backed off, and didn't try to claw at the leg again, just the shoe

I was worried for the people with the giraffe too! For those who don’t know yes a giraffe can kill you. Saw a show about this couple that got repeatedly attacked by a giraffe. Effed them tf up. All wild animals are unpredictable, no matter how cute and innocent they may seem. Also me, sees Leopard… “KITTY!!”

01:36 This situation shows so well that mankind and wildlife rely on tricks and deceit. The elephant, 100x stronger, is impressed by this 75kg man who just inexplicably isn't scared. It's never about being something really, just being able to fake it perfectly.

00:39 that boat carved from wood is stunning. also, I don't quite think the shark "attacked" I think since sharks have bad eyesight it bumped into their boat in an attempt to see what it was, food or otherwise.

I like how the orca wanted to taste the paddle board but was conscientious and careful enough as to not make him lose balance. These animals are so smart, for every time a human meets a whale, that whale has or sly watched hundreds of people but just kept out of view, there’s people out there that have probably had like five massive orcas swimming below them but had absolutely no idea. The top is literally black so they don’t need to dive far to become invisible to the naked eye. Like imagine your just sitting around paddling and 20 feet below are massive super apex predators that kill great white shark by themselves

Elephant didn't know who he was tangling with XD Gotta love how although they're far more dangerous, leopards and the like really are just like giant house cats. That one lion, when the door was opened, went "Oh shit, there's humans here." The bull elk was wanting a fight and when he wasn't getting one, was doing the elk version of "Are you even alive? You're moving but you're not challenging me." The dude really knew how to handle it though. Once he could, he walked away, basically letting the elk know he was dominant in this "fight".
